Preparations before entering chicks For new farmers, most of them are not very familiar with the breeding process. Two weeks before entering chicks, thoroughly rinse and disinfect the brooding room, brooding cages, troughs, drinking fountains, etc., and then close the doors and windows. The dosage of disinfectant is 28 ml of formalin + 14 grams of potassium permanganate + 100 ml of water per cubic meter of space. At the same time, the house temperature should be raised to above 20°C.

In the brooding stage, the physique of chicks is relatively weak, the immune system is not yet fully developed, and the disease resistance is poor, and it takes a process to adapt to the external environment. Therefore, strengthening the management of laying hens during the brooding period to ensure that the chicks are healthy, physically up to standard, high survival rate, and good uniformity is the basis for ensuring high and stable laying hens.
